Founding Location of Alcoholics Anonymous

Last week, I had the "pleasure" of visiting a mid-sized city called Akron in northeast Ohio.

Aside from being the home Goodyear Tire, Akron doesn't seem to offer a lot to the average tourist. But a closer look beyond the rubber of "rubber city" reveals an interesting history. Alcoholics Anonymous formed when two men met and decided to better themselves in the name of God.

These men (Bob and Bill) decided that they had enough of having a good time and it was in their best interest to peddle sobriety and God onto the good people of America.
