Sunspot Cinema Collective is a group of filmmakers and professors with the mission of cultivating cinematic and social culture.

   Since being formed in 2011, SCC has expanded the experimental cinema landscape in Central Florida to heights never before seen. 

   The group has yearly showcases located all over Orlando (including venues such as CityArts) and has, in recent years, helped to create a permanently featured block of experimental film at the Florida Film Festival. 

   Blanco joined the collective in 2018 and acted as president from 2019-2020.
